Metis is a specialized employee
benefits advisory and an insurance services company engaged in providing
effective and sustainable solutions in the employee benefits segment
mainly in health, disability, life and overseas travel to corporates.
As a member of the insurance regulated industry Metis
Insurance Brokers Private Limited is a joint venture between Sudesh S.
Shetty and UnitedHealthcare International Asia LLC. The team is headed by
Mr. Sudesh Shetty, a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of
professional experience. He has been the CFO for UnitedHealthcare India
(a Health Services Organization) from 1998 until 2003. He is currently
the Chief Executive Officer for Metis Insurance Brokers Private Limited.
Incepted in 2003, Metis is headquartered in Mumbai
that works with over 90 plus multi local corporates across India
covering over 300,000 beneficiaries.

healthcare services in the United States, Six Asian and European
countries. The organization is an innovative leader in the health and
well-being industry, serving approximately 70 million clients. It

Through this partnership Metis and UnitedHealth Group
endeavor to use their collective expertise, learning and resources in the
Indian market.
